Planning Committee tentatively picks days for reunion |

The planning committee picks Tuesday through Thursday for the family reunion. This will allow for people traveling long distances to have a few days (Saturday - Monday) to travel to the reunion and a few days (Friday - Sunday) to travel Home. This does present a challenge to the local folks who might prefer the weekend days to limit the amount of vacation required to attend. |

First 2008 Reunion Meeting Held |

 The first planning meeting for the 2008 Rush Family Reunion was held on Sunday June 17. The main topics covered were timing, location and assignments for the planning committee. Lyn Rush was voted CAO (chief activities officer) with the responsibility of planning activities for the reunion. Mike was assigned the development of the web page and producing the family history book which will be distributed at the reunion. Timing is still open but initial thoughts are June or July, 2008. Flagstaff Arizona is the tentative location of the reunion. It will be cool in the summer and there are many activities in the area for those attending. Contact the webmaster for more information! |
